USED CAR SALES EXECUTIVE

We are looking for a Used Car Sales Executive to join our BMW team at Barons Farnborough. The position will report into the Used Car Sales Manager and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record for achieving targets and delivering first class customer service.

In this role you will be expected to interact with our customers and so the highest level of customer service is expected. Candidates will benefit from experience where they have demonstrated their ability to deliver exceptional customer service, especially in demanding situations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To sell an agreed number of vehicles, extended warranty and accessories, using sound selling techniques and product knowledge to obtain maximum profit.

To provide a courteous, professional and advisory service to customers ensuring .complete customer satisfaction.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promptly approach and greet all customers in the showroom and forecourt.

Use Enquiry Management process systems designed to create additional sales opportunities for repeat or new business.

Prepare and use a planned sales presentation, designed to achieve maximum results from available sales opportunities, including; customer greeting, qualifying, handling objections, product presentation and demonstration, closing and delivery.

Develop and maintain full knowledge of all products, accessories, prices and key factors of the major competitors.

Offer all customers a test drive and demonstrate features and benefits.

Provide a thorough explanation of all F&I and warranty in a non-pressured way; hand over to the Business Manager as appropriate. Always confirm customer eligibility for finance and insurance products based on the necessary qualification questions, before any products are offered or sold.

Complete all necessary compliance training before entering discussions with a customer on any finance or insurance products.

Maintain adequate records of all sales activities. Ensure the completion of all sale and financial paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure the completion of sales in a satisfactory manner.

Carry out accurate appraisals for all vehicles presented for part-exchange, using the Approved Used Car Forms, including mechanical, electrical and all cosmetic features. Agree valuations with the Sales Manager or Used Car Manager and complete satisfactory negotiations with potential customers to maximise sales.

Hand over vehicles in perfect condition, when promised and, using the handover checklist, explain the controls and paperwork.

Introduce all customers to members of the Service and Parts team to reassure them of our continued care. Arrange a date for follow-up.

Maintain contact with customers at appropriate intervals and prospect for new business, fully utilising the Dealership prospecting system.

Use CITNow technology to communicate with customers on a regular basis, including but not limited to introduction videos, customer follow-up videos, handover videos etc.

Fully contribute to and assist in ensuring the highest standard of vehicle display.

Maintain awareness of the standards required to pass mystery shops.

Manage corporate referrals as per the referrals process policy.

Engage and comply with the Company's “Treating Customers Fairly" policy and comply with the regulatory requirements of the FCA at all times

Maintain a customer focus at all times, aiming to achieve high customer satisfaction scores and always delivering exceptional customer service.
